The Beginning of Yuksel’s ministry in Bulgaria

The ministry in Bulgaria started many years ago as Yuksel went there for the first time in 1997 as an evangelist. Over the years many came to faith and churches formed among the Turkish speaking community.

God loves the Turks, and God loves Muslims. The Turks in Bulgaria have been historically persecuted in Bulgaria and are desperate for the love of Christ. Please pray with us for an even greater outpouring of God’s spirit and love as we have seen His works among the Turkish Bulgarian Muslims with many coming to know Him.

With God’s blessing, there were four outreaches put together in Sliven, Stara Zagora, Yambol, and Burgaz. In each city these took place it turned out that miracles took place as well. The Turkish speaking population in each place are over tens of thousands.

We did not count the exact numbers, but 1100-1200 people heard the gospel by His grace and over 110 people gave their lives to Jesus the first time. The new believers were connected with the leaders and will be receiving discipling to grow in their faith!
